# Optional modules and value-added capabilities

Every plan includes base file preview without separate selection; see [Preview and Transcoding](https://www.babel.cc/public/babelwiki/en/preview-transcoding.html) for supported formats and conversion scope. The extension modules below are selected as needed and should be confirmed in the license and implementation plan.

## Common optional modules

| Module | Description |
| --- | --- |
| CAD preview | Standard and advanced modules; the advanced option explicitly lists annotations. Confirm the selected module's delivery scope |
| Advanced 3D preview | 3D preview and transcoding; see [Preview and Transcoding](https://www.babel.cc/public/babelwiki/en/preview-transcoding.html) for professional formats and service prerequisites |
| Video transcoding | Video transcoding module and associated server requirements |
| Online Office and co-editing | Separate concurrency tiers of 20, 50, 100 and 200, using BabelBird's deeply customized ONLYOFFICE component |
| OCR search | Search text in images |
| SMS login and authentication | SMS authentication integration; provision the SMS service separately. Module licensing does not include SMS usage |
| Automatic enforced backup | Backup capability; agree on policies and resources during implementation |
| Antivirus integration for cloud scanning | Integration with antivirus software, subject to third-party licensing and deployment prerequisites |
| Sensitive-word controls | Controls for sensitive words |
| Base API | Base interface license; confirm the integration scope in the [API documentation](https://www.babel.cc/public/babelwiki/en/developer-api-overview.html) and delivery checklist |
| Full Zhichao module suite | AI search, assistant, agents and knowledge bases; plan model services and compute separately |
| Document control | Document-control projects, transmittals and transfer records; see [Document Control](https://www.babel.cc/public/babelwiki/en/doc-control-project.html) |

## Choosing Preview and Editing {#preview-editing-selection}

BabelViewer provides file preview and annotations. Online Office uses BabelBird's deeply customized ONLYOFFICE editor. They are separate components: every plan includes base file preview, while online Office is optional. Office concurrency is also separate from the total licensed user capacity.

For example, viewing and annotating design files and co-editing Word documents require separate checks of preview and Office modules. Consult the relevant feature documentation for supported formats, annotation scope and conversion to PDF.

## Integration and Further Customization {#integration-options}

- DingTalk, Feishu and WeCom integrations are separate selections.
- OA, ERP and IPM integrations can cover single sign-on, user synchronization and file storage within an agreed scope.
- Third-party DLP integration, technical enablement, API customization and other development are scoped per project.
- Data transfer between security zones, electronic signatures, online CAD editing and other capabilities can be discussed using the relevant feature documentation; this list does not establish default inclusion.

## Third-party service access conditions

Third-party systems need usable interfaces and licenses, plus compatible networking and deployment conditions. Confirm server access to any external Internet service. Define integration testing, account configuration and acceptance scope in the implementation checklist; the existence of an API alone does not establish compatibility with every function.
