# Standard Private Deployment Package

A base private cloud license runs BabelBird in a customer-managed environment. Confirm the licensing model, user capacity, modules and deployment scope together. See the [plan overview](https://www.babel.cc/public/babelwiki/en/private-package-overview.html#license-options) for perpetual and annual subscription options.

## Core Capabilities

- Enterprise, personal, department and project files, plus material libraries.
- Uploads, downloads, resumable transfers and supported incremental transfers.
- File version history, version recovery and collaboration records.
- Base file preview, included in every plan. See [Preview and Transcoding](https://www.babel.cc/public/babelwiki/en/preview-transcoding.html) for formats and BabelViewer annotation scope. Online Office editing is a separate [optional module](https://www.babel.cc/public/babelwiki/en/private-package-modules.html).
- Department roles, project permissions, file access controls, sharing and audit logs.
- Windows, macOS and Linux (including Kylin) desktop clients support file synchronization and local editing. Linux does not support mapped drives; choose the build for the distribution and architecture. See the [platform capability table](https://www.babel.cc/public/babelwiki/en/deployment-xinchuang.html).
- Enterprise administration for members, roles, organization, tags, watermarks and reporting.

## License Extensions and Branding {#license-extensions}

| License item | Intended use | Selection notes |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Additional users | Expand an existing plan's account capacity | Confirm the existing license and additional user count |
| Storage expansion license | Expand licensed storage | In increments of 50 TB; actual storage hardware and capacity must be planned separately |
| Multi-tenant and resale license | Operate the multi-tenant edition or obtain resale rights | Confirm the scope of both permissions separately |
| Web white-label license | Brand a privately deployed Web interface | Confirm independently from other client licenses |
| Mobile white-label license | iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android apps | Confirm platforms, branding and delivery arrangements |
| Desktop white-label license | Windows and macOS clients | Confirm clients, branding and delivery arrangements |

A storage expansion license does not supply physical disks or an object-storage service, and it does not establish the base plan's included capacity. Confirm the base allowance, expanded license and actual available storage separately.

## Delivery and Deployment

Base file preview is included in every plan and does not require separate selection. CAD/3D extensions, video transcoding, online Office, OCR, base API and Zhichao AI are selected as needed. Confirm the version, user capacity, extension modules and service terms in the delivery checklist.

Single-server, multi-server, container-platform, on-premises and third-party cloud deployments are supported according to the implementation plan. Size services by concurrency, file volume, preview load and recovery requirements, not a universal server count.

## Acceptance Checks

1. Verify licensed core functions and optional modules.
2. Test permissions as administrators, ordinary members and external recipients.
3. Test transfers, versions, sharing, synchronization, search and logs.
4. Verify database and file backups with a recovery exercise.
5. Confirm operating documentation, training, upgrade procedures and support contacts.

See [Server Requirements](https://www.babel.cc/public/babelwiki/en/deployment-requirements.html), [Configuration Advisor](https://www.babel.cc/public/babelwiki/en/configuration-advisor.html) and [Optional Modules](https://www.babel.cc/public/babelwiki/en/private-package-modules.html).
